You will find that increasing flexibility with proper stretching enhances performance, rehabilitation and wellness. Stretching incorrectly may cause pain or injury. Stretching should be completely pain free to be effective. If you experience pain anywhere when stretching, the body's natural involuntary response will be to tighten up to prevent lengthening, and possible injury. Any pain will not allow you to relax and fully engage in the process.

I use two types of stretching techniques that improve flexibility, body awareness and help correct neuromuscular patterning:
PNF – Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitated Stretching.
AIS – Active Isolated Stretching.

By themselves these methods provide pain-free effective results. When integrated with Neuromuscular Therapy and or fitness training these techniques produce outstanding results.
